Her twin brother

So my daughter is a twin. When you have twins, I found out that they like to label the twins A and B. My daughter was twin B and her brother of course was twin A. They were born 3 minutes apart and couldn't be more different.

My son had a brief stay in the NICU after birth. Shortly after he was born, he struggled to regulate his body temperature and had to be moved there for closer monitoring. During his first few days, he required an OG (orogastric) tube to assist with feeding, but by the end of the week, he was able to nurse on his own. He spent a total of two weeks in the NICU. Aside from this, he passed his hearing screening and appeared typical in nearly every way. It wasn’t until he was 16 months old that we began noticing delays. At that age, he wasn’t pulling to stand, taking steps, or showing progress toward walking. We started physical therapy, and by 18 months, he was walking. After that, he seemed to develop quite typically. However, after he turned two, some neurodivergent traits started to emerge. Thankfully, we were able to implement early interventions, which have played a significant role in his progress. It hasn’t always been easy, but I am incredibly proud of what he has accomplished. I’m grateful that he’s gained some independence and continues to learn new skills every day.
